Privacy Policy
Neotech Cloud Solutions ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information when you use Life Coach AI.
1. Information We Collect
- Information you provide: name, email, profile details, goals, tasks, journal entries, and support messages.
- Automatically collected information: IP address, device/browser type, operating system, language, app usage, and diagnostics.
- From third parties: if you sign in with Google or similar providers, we receive identifiers required to authenticate your account.
2. Health & Fitness Data (Google Health Connect / Apple Health)
If you enable the optional Sports Tracking feature and grant permission on your device, Life Coach AI reads the following data from Google Health Connect (Android) or Apple HealthKit (iOS):
- Steps: daily and historical step counts, used to power your activity dashboard and long-term trends.
- Workouts / exercise sessions: including activity type, start time, duration, distance, and calories burned, used to automatically import your workouts into your sports session history and sports programs so you don't have to enter them manually.
This health and fitness data is only accessed after you grant permission through the Health Connect/HealthKit permission dialog on your device. We use it solely to provide the in-app features described above (activity dashboard, sports session history, and program tracking) for your own benefit. Access is read-only — Life Coach AI does not write to or modify your Health Connect or HealthKit records. We do not sell this data and do not share it with third parties for advertising or any other purpose. You can revoke access at any time through your device's Health Connect/HealthKit permission settings, and you can request deletion of previously synced health data from your account by contacting privacy@life-coach-ai.com.
2a. Nutrition & Weight Data
If you use the optional Nutrition Tracking feature, Life Coach AI collects the food/meal entries, calories, and macronutrients you log, plus, if you grant permission, weight and nutrition data read from Google Health Connect (Android) or Apple HealthKit (iOS). We use this data to show your daily/weekly nutrition tracking and to power the AI check-in conversation about your goals.
Before this data is collected, we ask for your separate, explicit consent — this is not bundled into a general "accept our terms" step. We use it only for the features described here and never share it for advertising.
Food lookups (searching a food name or scanning a barcode) are sent to two third-party nutrition databases — USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts — to retrieve nutrition facts. Only the search term or barcode is sent, never your identity, full log, or weight. Results are cached after the first lookup to minimize repeat queries. If the AI check-in reads your onboarding conversation to personalize its response, that conversation text is processed by our LLM backend (OpenAI or a self-hosted Ollama model, depending on configuration) — health data itself is not sent beyond what you've chosen to say in that conversation.
Retention: we keep your nutrition and weight history for as long as your account remains active. You can delete individual entries at any time from within the app (including entries imported from Health Connect/HealthKit), or delete your entire account to permanently erase this data — see Section 8, Your Rights.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide and secure Life Coach AI features, account access, and reminders.
- Personalize your planning experience and improve product quality.
- Provide support communications and service notifications.
- Comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud or abuse.
4. Legal Bases (EEA/UK/Switzerland)
Where GDPR or similar laws apply, processing is based on contract, legitimate interests, consent, and legal obligations depending on context.
5. Sharing and Disclosure
- Service providers: hosting, analytics, notifications, and support tooling under contractual safeguards.
- Legal requests: when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
- Business transfers: merger, acquisition, financing, or asset sale.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Some jurisdictions define "sale" or "sharing" more broadly for targeted advertising contexts.
6. International Transfers
Your data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States. For EEA/UK/Swiss data, we apply safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses when required.
7. Retention
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for service delivery, legal compliance, and legitimate business purposes.
8. Your Rights
- Access, correct, or delete your personal information.
- Request portability of eligible data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing in specific jurisdictions.
- Withdraw consent where consent is the legal basis.

9. U.S. Privacy Choices
In applicable U.S. states, you may request to opt out of sale/sharing and targeted advertising, and request access, deletion, and correction rights as applicable.
10. Cookies and Similar Technologies
We may use essential and analytics-related technologies to run and improve the service. Marketing technologies are used only where applicable and allowed by your preferences.
11. Data Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards to protect data. No system is 100% secure, but we continuously improve controls.
12. Children
Life Coach AI is not directed to children under the age required by local law without parental consent.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use after updates means the revised policy applies.
